The manager (the heart of the job—thinking) does the job by thinking, not when they get information about something. Understanding the information requires reflecting and thinking, which can be done anywhere, anytime. Hence, managers work outside of working hours because the problems they try to solve need not focus but need to be unfocused to unravel and make sense.
